No ship-excursion timetable. You take a $5 taxi from Costa Maya port, snorkel when the next boat is ready, then enjoy Coconut Water Beach Club or return to ship

Taxi to our beach club
From the port, tell the driver “Coconut Water Beach Club, next to Krazy Lobster.” $5 per person. After you book you get a PDF pass in English and Spanish. Show it to our staff and they will take you to our boats.

Next boat from 9am
There is no fixed departure. Arrive, pay, take the next available boat. Earlier is better on the ship days. Our boats are named Ojitos (“Small Eyes”), tied off in the sand by our beach

7-minute run along the coast
Turquoise water and the palm line of Mahahual. Gear is on the boat. Bottled water is included.

One hour on the reef
Calm, protected water about 5-8 feet deep. Coral, tropical fish, rays, and a good chance of sea turtles. Your guide stays in the water with you. Do not touch the sea turtles. If you are not a strong swimmer, hold the life ring and the guide pulls you – look down and breathe.

Back to our beach club - or the ship
The snorkel ends at Coconut Water Beach Club. Stay for food and chairs, walk town, or taxi the mile back to the port whenever you want. Tour time is about 1.5 hours. Beach time is yours.

After the snorkeling adventure, sit at our beach club
Meet at Coconut Water Beach Club for your tour and you come back to the beach club when you get off the boat.
Same stretch of malecon, next to Krazy Lobster. Chairs, bathrooms, and Wi-Fi come with your reservation. Tacos $12. Beers from $4. Oysters and coconut ceviche if you want more than the usual taco plate.

Coconut Water Beach Club, Mahahual malecon, next to Krazy Lobster. Taxi from Costa Maya port for $5 per person and only takes a few minutes. The port is one mile from our boats.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, and cash. You can change at our beach club if needed. Moderate activity: climbing in and out of the boat, and time in the sea. Not a fit if you cannot get in the water at all.
