Fishing Charter

Enjoy a relaxing private fishing trip in the beautiful waters of Costa Maya!

To join us, take a taxi or rent a golf cart from the Costa Maya port and head to Oxtankah Beach Club (short ride, approx. $5 USD per person by taxi). This is our meeting point.

Once there, simply tell any waiter that you are with Coconut Water Tours for your scheduled fishing charter. Your group will board our comfortable private boat with an experienced local captain and guide.

Boat Options & Rates (group rates, not per person):

  • Small Boat – $135 per hour (up to 6 people)
  • Big Boat – $200 per hour (up to 12 people)

While your fishing group is out on the water, anyone who wants to stay behind can relax at Oxtankah Beach Club or Krazy Lobster with full access to the beach, lounge chairs, and facilities.

What’s Included:

  • Private boat with captain and guide
  • All fishing equipment
  • Bait
  • Bottled water

You choose how long you want to fish (minimum 2 hours recommended). After the trip, you can continue relaxing at the beach club or return to port whenever you’re ready. The beach club waiters will help coordinate your taxi back.

  • Payment: Cash preferred (USD, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, or Mexican Pesos). Please bring sufficient cash. No deposit needed.
  • Food Allergies: Notify us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera/phone (waterproof recommended), and cash for extras (drinks, souvenirs, or taxi if needed).
  • What’s Included: Private fishing charter, snorkeling opportunities (as available), bottled water, and full access to the beach club after the tour.
  • Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours total (including beach club time). You can choose to return to the ship immediately after fishing if preferred.
  • Meeting Point: Find a taxi at port  driver will take you to Oxtankah Beach club (taxi is $5 USD per person each way). Beach club staff will assist you to our boat for your private charter. After the charter you can choose to use Oxtankah or Krazy Lobster beach club. You can also choose to return directly to port
  • Back-to-Ship Guarantee: Guaranteed return to port at least 1 hour before ship departure (we coordinate timing with you).
  • Activity Level: Moderate (fishing, possible swimming/snorkeling, boat steps). Not suitable for guests with severe mobility issues or who are unable to swim.
