The day, step by step
Come to the meeting point as soon as you are allowed off the ship. You set the pace at the ruins. We handle the rest and finish at Coconut Water Beach Club on the Mahahual malecon.

Meet at the port gate
Please come directly to our meeting location as soon as you are allowed off your ship. The earlier the better. Costa Maya entrance, corner of Caribe Avenue and Paseo del Puerto. Your driver holds a whiteboard with your name. Maps come with the reservation.

50 Minutes drive through 2 small towns
Air-conditioned private vehicle. No shopping-stop detours on the way there.

1.5–2 hours at Chacchoben
Walk Temple 24, the Gran Basamento, and Temple One at your own pace. Climb the stairs if you want. Watch for spider monkeys and birds. An optional licensed guide is located at the gate if desired for an extra fee.

Pedro Santos pineapple stop
One honey pineapple included per booking. Extra fruits and honey are available for purchase and can be consumed in the vehicle.

Drop-off at our beach club - or port
Most guests get dropped off at Coconut Water Beach Club. Want the ship instead? Say so when you book or to your driver and we will take you back to the shopping center. The tour ends at drop off. For those that choose to be dropped off at the beach club or town, you can return to port at any time by taking a taxi located at every corner for just $5 per person

The $75 ruins tour ends at Coconut Water Beach Club, on the malecon next to Krazy Lobster.
Chairs, tables, bathroom, wifi and lounge chairs come with any booking. Tacos from $12. 16 oz coctails $12. Beers from $4. Oysters, coconut ceviche and lobster by the gram if you want more than just the usual taco plate

Port Costa Maya entrance, Caribe Avenue and Paseo del puerto. Wear walking shoes. Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and cash for the tour.
