The day, step by step
This is the active Bacalar day with mostly swimming and relaxing. If you would rather sit on a boat and look at the colors, with a bit of swim time, take the pontoon tour instead.

Meet at the port gate
Come as soon as you are off the ship — Bacalar is a longer drive. Port Costa Maya entrance, Caribe Avenue and Paseo del Puerto. Your driver has a whiteboard with your name. Maps included with booking.

About 1 hour 30 minutes inland
Enjoy a private air-conditioned vehicle through Maya country for just your group. Stop and enjoy a pineapple and other fruits in Pedro Santos “Pineapple village”. One pineapple is included with every booking.

The Secret River
The narrow channel people call the rapids. Swim it or rent a kayak by the hour. The water is clear, moving and unforgettable. There are changing rooms and lockers available for rent if you have valuables. The are is very safe and you can leave anything you like in our vehicle. Your driver will look after your belongings.

Grilled chicken lunch
Enjoy a fresh grilled chicken lunch with beans, rice, and tortillas at a restaurant in downtown Bacalar. Water and other non-alcoholic drinks included.

Straight back to Costa Maya port
We will drop you off at the shopping-center entrance. This tour does not include Coconut Water Beach Club. There is not enough time after Bacalar.

Bacalar days do not end at the club
The lagoon is an hour and a half each way. We take you back to the port shopping center so you make the ship. Save Coconut Water Beach Club for your next visit — ruins, snorkel, or fishing.
Meet us here
Port Costa Maya entrance. Wear a swimsuit, bring a towel, water shoes if you have them, sunscreen, and cash. Moderate to active: current, kayaking, swimming.
