How a charter works

Ships dock at different hours, so this is not a fixed morning tour. When you book, tell us the ship name, how many hours, and whether you want to troll, bottom fish for a bit of both.

1 Get off the ship and come to us

Taxi 5 minutes from Costa Maya port to Coconut Water Beach Club just $5 per person. Come as soon as you are allowed off of your ship.

2 Clock starts when bait hits the water

Gear, bait, bottled water, and a guide are on the boat. You are not paying for the ride out of the harbor. You pay for fishing time, so the clock doesnt start until the bait hits the water.

3 Troll or handline

Troll for larger fish, or drop anchor and work the bottom for snapper and grouper. Say which when you book under “Notes”. Bring food and drinks if you want them on board.

4 Back to Coconut Water Beach Club

We dock at our club. Stay for food and drinks, walk town, get a massage, or taxi the mile back to the port whenever you want.

5 Cook the catch if you want

We can clean and cook what you land at the club for an extra charge, depending on the fish and how you want it prepared. Or take photos and release.
