Meet your driver at the Coconut Water Tours meeting point just outside the Costa Maya cruise port. Enjoy a comfortable ride to Chacchoben Mayan Ruins, where you’ll have plenty of time to explore the impressive pyramids, temples, and jungle-shaded plazas at your own pace (up to 2 hours). An optional local guide is available at the entrance for an extra fee.
On the way back, we’ll stop at Pedro Santos so you can buy fresh fruit — and we include one delicious pineapple per reservation as our gift to you!
Your driver will then take you to Mahahual for snorkeling. From there, you’ll board a comfortable boat for a relaxing 7-minute scenic ride along the stunning Mahahual coastline, enjoying beautiful views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea and palm-lined shore.
You’ll spend 1 full hour snorkeling in calm, protected waters above healthy coral reefs teeming with colorful tropical fish, rays, and other marine life. There is a very good chance of seeing sea turtles in their natural habitat. Snorkel gear is provided, and our local guide stays with you the whole time for safety and to point out the best spots.
After snorkeling, relax and enjoy full access to Oxtankah Beach Club or Krazy Lobster (white sand beaches, lounge chairs, fresh seafood, cold drinks, and laid-back Caribbean vibes).

Things To Know
- Payment: Cash preferably (USD, British Pound, Canadian Dollar or Mexican Pesos). Please bring sufficient cash. No Deposit Needed.
- Food Allergies: Notify us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
- What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera/phone (waterproof recommended), and cash for extras (drinks, souvenirs, or taxi if needed).
- What’s Included: Private snorkeling tour, 7-minute scenic boat ride along the coast, 1 hour snorkeling in the water, bottled water, and full access to Oxtankah or Krazy Lobster Beach Club after the tour.
- Duration: Approximately 4 –6 hours total (including beach club time). You can choose to return to the ship immediately after snorkeling if preferred.
- Meeting Point: Your driver will take you from the Costa Maya port to Oxtankah Beach Club The beach club waiters will assist with your return taxi to the port if you choose to stay longer. Let your waiter know you are ready to leave at least 15 minutes ahead of time and they will call you original driver back if you didn’t already work out a return time.
