Costa Maya Snorkeling Adventure and Beach Club

Please find a taxi at the Costa Maya port and ask your driver to take you the short distance to Oxtankah Beach Club (taxi cost is only $5 USD per person each way).

Once at the beach club, just tell any waiter at Oxtanka beach club that you are with Coconut Water Tours and they will help you board a comfortable boat for a relaxing 7-minute scenic ride along the stunning Mahahual coastline, enjoying great views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea and palm-lined shore.

You’ll then spend 1 full hour snorkeling in calm, protected waters above healthy coral reefs teeming with colorful tropical fish, rays, and other marine life. There is a very good chance of seeing sea turtles in their natural element. Snorkel gear is provided, and our local guide will stay with you the whole time for safety and to point out the best spots.

After your snorkeling session, relax and enjoy full access to Oxtankah Beach Club or Krazy Lobster (white sand, lounge chairs, fresh seafood, cold drinks, and Caribbean vibes). The friendly waiters at the beach club will happily help arrange a return taxi to the port whenever you’re ready ($5 USD per person).

Things To Know

What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera/phone (waterproof recommended), and cash for extras (drinks, souvenirs, or taxi if needed).

Duration: Approximately 2–6 hours total (including beach club time). You can choose to return to the ship immediately after snorkeling if preferred.
